My dearest family,
Another week of missionary work has come and gone in the zone of Turlock. We had a goal of having 14 baptisms in the month of December, but only saw 10 of those. As it stands, what with President Gelwix's statement that EVERY companionship baptize every month, and us having 10 companionships in our zone, we completed that goal.
However, that is not to say that it has been easy in any definition of the word. The advarsary has push on every side. It has been quite rough.
In fact, the 10th baptism happened to be in our area, and... though she has been baptized in the month of December, she has yet to be confirmed - thus, we with the help of our branch president - are planning on heading over to her house and getting her confirmed.
It WILL be done.
I have received your letters and found them quite informative. (I regret to tell you all that this part of the email had to be censored a bit, only a few sentences, not to worry, you are not missing any vital information about David, I'm only taking out a bit because quite frankly, it's not for anyone who's reading this, and it ain't nun-ya beeswax so just stay outta it. If you MUST know what is said and cannot LIVE without a few of David's sentences, then e-mail me privately and I might send you what it says...maybe. heehee if you have my email address that is. :) Back to our dear missionary-->)
In any regard,
please know how much I love you and continue to be your best.
Love,
Elder Ostler
