A little note before you continue on with the letters...

Hey! For all those who have been waiting for me to update for...-whew! 8 weeks! long time! Sorry about that guys!-well I just added the last eight letters from David. I'm going to put the following in all-caps for those who are just kinda scanning -or not even scanning, I'm sure in some cases- this little extra from yours truly. THERE ARE TWO NEW PICTURES AT THE BOTTOM, CHECK THEM OUT. Sorry again for taking so long, I guess I've just been really horrible at being consistent with this since school began, maybe a little before then. Ok, enjoy reading!!!

[A Clever Title] - Not Available

Dear Family,
I was so happy to be able to talk with you this past week! Whew! It was wonderful. I am still stunned that I could not recognize Dad's voice in spanish.... you spoke well.
So today we had preparation day due to the fact that we were able to go to the temple. As I was sitting in the session, a flood of memories came to me (as it always does) about topics that I should study from the scriptures. As I was pondering upon these things, I thought to myself how wonderful the temple really is. Zero distractions. Completely unplugged from the world. What a difference it makes.

Sadly, I was AGAIN foiled in my attempt to hear as much as I wanted to from everyone... however, I'm not so sure how much can really be caught up on in only 40 minutes.

However, since President Gelwix entered the mission, there was a projected initiated - code named "The Moroni Project" - which was that by 10:30 pm on Christmas Eve, each and every one of us would have read the Book of Mormon in it's entirety. Then we would perform a 'Moroni 10:4-5' on ourselves... all of this that we might all become reconverted to the Lord, His gospel, our missions, etc. All this in order that when we would teach, we would have the conviction neccessary to perform this great work.

Well my dear folks, guess who didn't finish it? Not me.... as in - I did finish. Hopefully there weren't any that didn't finish.
But nevertheless, I did. What a powerful experience. Not that it was the first time I'd ever read the book cover-to-cover, however, I think it was the most converting time.
The Book of Mormon is true. Just so you know.

Something that has struck me throughout this past time that I've had serving here is how much you've all grown. It's truly incredible. As I read you letters, hear your voices, received your packages, I was blown away. I have the coolest family ever.

I'm happy for you. Keep making good choices.

I'm excited for this new year.
Love,
Elder Ostler
