So... Elder Smalley left. Off to Culiacan, Mexico.
Things are finally getting back to their normal pace. We still go into Fresno seemingly every other day which makes it a bit more difficult to baptize, nevertheless we are going to do it.
I was pleased to see Dad in his baptismal clothing. (My dad baptized someone.) Last week, we invited President Gelwix to come out with us to teach a lady by the name of Cynthia Moreno. She has been progressing incredibly rapidly during the last 3 weeks. It has been something wonderful to see. Actually, about 3 weeks ago, she was not anywhere near baptism. But then we had these incredible lessons. The Spirit bore powerful testimony to her.
She will be baptized the 7th of April. More to come.
I hope that you all know that you are loved. I do think about you - but now, it isn't something distracting but rather encouraging.
Continue onward.
The California Fresno Mission motto:
Never Surrender!
Never Quit!
No Regrets!
Love ya,
Elder Ostler
